Why BreakingWaters?
With two decades of experience, most recently overseeing a global equity framework at one of the world’s largest banks, I created the BreakingWaters substack to reflect the framework I use and support you on your investing journey.
The newsletter is designed to be your global equity deputy, serving you with the information, education, and insights you need to make sense of global equity markets.
The guideline schedule is as follows (UK Time):
Fri Eve: The Week in Markets (a) - A summary of the week just gone and how the thesis around particualr stocks may have shifted.
Sat Eve: Next Week + Read Across (s24) - A look ahead to the earnings and economic prints coming up in the week ahead and a read across to how they might impact stocks.
Weds Morn: Expert Watch (a) - A breakdown of what other experts in the industry are looking at, sometimes research, sometimes their positioning, distilled for your quick understanding and with ideas of how it might improve your investing.
Thurs Eve: Time to learn (a) - A focused explanation on some topic in global equities that may not be clear or may be currently relevant.
Anyday, Anytime: Market Thinking - Thoughts on what is unfolding at anytime in markets. (s24)
Monthly: Breakwater Book club (a) - each month I will read a different book I think is useful to investors and anyone can join in. I will host a casual catch-up at the end to discuss the book.
Monthly: Expert Webinar (s) - each month I will get an expert on to discuss various topics in the global equities space. Recordings are available to paid subscribers for up to 1 month.
